Proudly Australian | At Millison we firmly recognise the importance of prompt delivery of prototypes. New products are vital for the survival of all companies. It is company policy at Millison to reserve a portion of our production capacity for producing our clients prototypes. Engineering PrototypesFor engineering prototypes, we provide two methods of manufacture. Firstly, the Essemtech hand pick and place, secondly the Yamaha production equipment. Where there are a reasonable number of components to place, the most likely scenario is that we will use a combination of the two with resistors, capacitors etc. being placed by the Yamaha's and all other components being placed using the Essemtech. As an added service to our clients, we make our facilities available to our clients and their engineering staff to build their own prototypes. Production PrototypesOur company policy is to build all production prototypes on the equipment that will be used to assemble them when they are in full in production. This allows us to fully evaluate the production performance using the actual manufacture techniques as early as possible. In some cases this is not possible. In these cases, we will use processes that resemble the final production processes as closely as practical. Screen PrintingWe have equipped our MPM semi-automatic screen printer with a 'quickframe 20' frameless mounting system. This further reduces the time and cost involved in producing prototypes as the solder stencil shim does not need to be mounted in a frame. Please contact Paul Isaacs on (03) 8793-9500 or 0419-364-804 if we can be of any assistance in your prototyping needs. Download a PDF Brochure on our Prototyping Services. |
